Dynamic pricing is already here. They just don’t frame it as such. Regular prices at the grocery stores are insanely high, and they just give everyone different discounts based on what they think you’re willing to pay.

    Some online stores will offer me discounts on random things at checkout and when I say no it will offer me more extreme discounts on the same products

    It’s basically just random interval scheduling psychological reinforcement which is obviously super fucked up to perform at social scale

    This is great. That workarounds the problem with other customers seeing someone else’s individual price on a label in-store. I expect to see more of it. 📈
