I see a site advertising a Nintendo Switch for $5 and brand new games for 30 cents a piece and I already know damn well not to shop there. Especially when the ads insist it’s legit lol

Their prices are kept artificially low to attract people’s interest. They sell a bunch of ‘buy it today, trash it tomorrow’ plastic gimmicks. They force 3rd party vendors to sell at a loss, and rip off independent artists, even stealing product photos from other creators’ sites in order to sell their knock-offs. Lots of false advertising tactics and greenwashing, including “buy more things so your parcel will be fuller, hence preventing GHG emissions by buying more crap”

It’s a Chinese knockoff mill. IP theft and low quality products that end up in the trash quickly. So, screwing people and killing the planet.

The Yi cameras you can get on Amazon started placing full page ads for Temu that load upon app opening. Got rid of that Yi shit pretty quick after that. It all sounds like garbage proructs.
