I just caught up on the second episode of the season. On one hand its great to see Spear regaining memories and purpose, on the other it is hard watching him taking more damage that isn’t healing.
The opening of the episode with these pre-historic antelope things was great to watch. Just a nice extended sequence of nature in Primal’s setting.

Spear continues on and starts hallucinating, so I guess the giant fly from the trailers wasn’t literal.

Spear meets “himself” and remembers his iconic weapon.

Awesome to see him get a spear at the end of the episode and show that he’s still got his spark.

I’m curious where his journey is taking him exactly (to Fang and Mira for sure, but I’m not sure where they are) and how he knows where to go.
I love this show, but it’s been brutal this season! I just caught up with this episode and the storytelling and art is amazing as usual. But as you say, it’s hard to watch. It was nice to see the connection with his previous self. I’m hoping he’ll get back to a better shape with magic or something as you said in the other thread.
I think he’s just following what sounds like Fang.
