I really hope so, would very much like to see a return of passenger ferry routes. Norway to Shetland also needs reinstated, scandelous the amount of air travel we have to take!
I’m a bit confused about why a Dunkirk-Rosyth ferry would be the one, that route seems a lot better served by the Chunnel, but I’m not about to complain! A Norway route would be great
As post brexit ports are a shitshow in general, so the more the merrier. Better options for exporters in general cannot be bad. And, good for the general public too. Take the car, pack a tent, feel more connected to Europe in one overnight trip. I’m sold
Had several family holidays where we took the car over from Fife to Zeebrugge when I was a kid. Very fond memories - even though I’m not sure how they managed to spin that journey into an overnight ride. I think Harry Potter 5 was being released at midnight during the date of one journey but they let people buy a copy a few hours early. I remember being ecstatic reading the first few chapters and eating a box of those shell chocolates in the cabin.
