The repetition in the song really lends itself well to a children’s show.

I have three friends which is two more then they have.
As much as this statement is feelings over facts, I do think this is true. If classic rock just means rock that is old, it does not have much meaning. I like to think classic rock was more of an era and type, before punk and grunge. Also a certain type of sound as well.
