So this is kind of a two for one. I went out last night and had drinks/tacos and played trivia. So I tried out Frigg from Arcana Wildcraft. The rave reviews I saw convinced me to pull the trigger before the collection came down, and I’m glad I did! This is such a soft nice scent. It really is like a “my skin but better” kind of feel. It’s sweet without being cloying, and the cashmere gives it a snuggly warm aspect.
Then today, I’m trying out one of the Night Tripping Fairies, Cobweb. Which is a pistachio gelato/vanilla ice cream scent with forest moss and spruce tips. This one is really nice as well! It’s sweet, but the mossy forest scent really grounds it. This one plays really close to my skin, but it’s only rested a couple days. I’m hoping it gets a bit stronger as it ages.
I’m glad you enjoyed Frigg! Is the conifer smell strong in Cobweb?
Frigg is lovely, I can see why it’s so we’ll loved. I don’t the green notes very strong in Cobweb. It’s definitely more present wet, but after dry down I primarily get the cream and pistachio. I’m iffy on green foresty scents, and this is a comfortable wear for me.
Today, I am wearing Black Hearted Tart’s Electric Feel (Lime, Lychee fruit, rose, melon, grape , citrus glazed bundt cake, golden amber, and sweet musk). It’s such an uplifting scent! I mainly get lime with a lychee and rose combo in the background. The lime isn’t tart at all. It’s very yummy smelling like a lot of Black Hearted Tart’s perfumes.
This sounds like a lovely warm weather scent!
Stereoplasm Lavender Scarab today! I used to think amber was boring, but this is one of the scents that helped change my mind. It’s a lovely herbal lavender with golden amber. It feels very round, in a comforting way. Allegedly there’s blackberry incense too, but I only really smell that if I know it’s there, so it’s probably suggestion in large part.
