    I don’t know why but randomly finding a fellow portuguese player, on a german lemmy community, speaking in english is quite amazing.

    What are your thoughts on Root and Heat?

      Haha, olá. I got here because it is the most subscribed boardgame community on Lemmy.

      On Root and Heat, Root is a difficult game to put on the table because of it’s assimettry but it is a great game; Heat is a very good game, it is already one of the group favorites, especially because our group likes F1 a lot 😁

    That’s a nice collection you got there. Many classics and a quite heavy game like Root.

    And despite it’s simplicity, ‘6 Nimmt’ is also great, especially with higher player counts.

      I can also recommend

      Tales & Games: The Hare & the Tortoise

      There is a bit more strategy involved compared to Camel Up and you can also team up with other players if during play you find out that you are betting on the same animal

        Interesting game, I never heard of this one. Unfortunately it’s out of print and from what I gathered and there won’t be a reprint.

      Thanks, i think Heat is a very good game, the deck building part is good but is limited, nothing like a true deck builder like dominion, it has some of those element’s but only partly.

    In case you didn’t know, your copy of Century: Eastern Wonders can be combined with Century: Spice Road and Century: A New World in any combination for a mix & match alternate game with some of the gameplay from each one integrated into it.

      Thanks 😁 The groups favorites are Catan, Cosmic Encounters, Unstable Unicorns and Heat, but we try to play all of them regularly, but i also love The Crew, Lords of Vegas and Citadels.
