Woke up early to watch both FP’s, fell asleep halfway through FP1 and woke up at the end of FP2. Oof.

Singapore FP’s are going to be miserable though, lol. They’re an hour earlier in the morning.

Hamilton has the lap record 1:18.something.
Race lap record and overall track lap record are different. Lewis was in qualifying, Rubens was in a race.

I know nothing about f1, but I am curious. What’s a speed trap? Cops on the side using the radar to pull them over?
It’s a point where they measure the speed of the cars. So in essence the the same as road speed trap, but no one will pull you over for going fast.

Edit: Sounds to me like Max insisted on going out for a final few laps after the red flag, claiming he’d learn from it. GP just wanted to call it a day.
So what happened with Stroll? Had to jump off for other stuff. Was it the gearbox or electronics?
Highlights said it was a fuel system problem.
