So what are you trying to contradict? The statute of limitations expiring doesn’t make him any less of an abuser. Neither does the outcome of one or more of the multiple cases. It applies only to that specific case and its scope. Manson also settled with Bianco and pulled his defamation lawsuit against Gore and Wood, paying Wood’s legal fees. She has since reiterated her allegations. Your own comment mentioning an open case suggests the matters are nowhere near resolved even legally.

Why attempt to defend him if you truly separate the art from the artist? What does it matter if he’s an abuser or not? Moreover, it’s impossible to separate Manson’s music from himself, as evident from the last sentences of the quote in my previous comment. And that’s not even touching on how promoting awful people who are alive leads to them getting paid and enabled. Some of them, like JKR, who also happens to be in the same circle of friends as Manson and Depp, then use that money to further political causes that remove people’s rights.

Separating the artist from the music is an individuals choice. Not something we can tell others to do. It’s their right to disapprove and to downvote if they feel like it.
You’re right about the other artists. And if I were to post any of them, as I absolutely am liable to do. Anyone could point out the allegations and downvote. Absolutely valid. And I won’t tell them otherwise.
What I would ask is that when appropriate, give individuals the space to reform and make amends. If the see no benefit to trying to change their behavior. Because no matter what they do or how hard they try, people will never forgive them. They’re going to do what’s easiest for them, which may result in more victims. Something no one should want.
And that said, it’s not something I’ve heard much about. Though honestly, he’s not someone I pay much attention to. Have there been more or new allegations of his abusive behavior? This is kinda like the Joe Letz thing. Joe says he’s trying to reform and get clean. Only time will tell.
