This is coming from Trump’s first term’s DHS chief of staff Miles Taylor.
Weeks ago, Trump sent members of the FBI to raid Fulton County of its 2020 ballots in an effort to prove that he actually won the election in Georgia over former president Joe Biden.
“People forget when they hear about this story that [Trump] was indicted on 13 felony counts in Fulton County for trying to meddle in that election.
Trump at it again, trying to meddle with Fulton County, surely it can’t go wrong a second time, right?
…there is no federal rule protecting Trump from the consequences if a Georgia jury proclaims him guilty of an illegal search
Remember that state crimes cannot be pardoned.
They claimed it was [because of] foreign interference. They said it was regulatory irregularities in an affidavit. And then Trump said the truth in that interview a couple of weeks ago with NBC. He said, those agents are going to find out who really won in 2020. There it is. He gave up the plot,” said Taylor.
This could be the basis for a case of the federal government conducting an illegal search.

People really have to start standing up the obvious illegal shit. It would have been real if Fulton county or the state of Georgia stood up to the obviously illegal seizure

i’m going to keep following this story, he’s already got 13 felonies for meddling with fulton county already and now he’s at it again. if this goes to court and a jury rules guilty, i really don’t know what happens then. he can’t get out of a state crime, state crimes can’t be pardoned by the president, he still has the felonies. a judge won’t be very happy seeing him guilty of a crime again that he already had 13 felonies for.
State crimes can be pardoned by the governor of that state. Georgia currently has, and usually votes for, a Republican governor. I think we all know how that plays out.
The same governor who refused to “find” votes in 2020.
