In a better world this would be the “The Powers That B” LP, but that thing is really hard to get. So my second favorite DG album has to do. This is the 2020 reprint which is also a mispress, the last two songs on side B are switched. That is probably the reason this version is affordable.

That record player once belonged to someone else. We burried them about a year ago, the petals were part of the ceremony. I kept one and put it where it is now.
They wanted to build a collection, but never got to own more than 6 LPs. So I built on what they had and our shared library is now 150 entries strong.
We connected a lot through music, so this felt appropriate and actively helped me in processing that loss.
What a beautiful gesture.
