Mount as a player is fine. He’s clearly an upgrade in our midfield and I’m sure we’ll be quite happy with him.

I’m very concerned that we have like zero movement on the striker front.

We don’t have any strikers other than Martial.

Yeah that’s starting to worry me too. Seems like Mount and potentially Rabiot are our midfield choices, and Onana looks to be getting more likely. That’s 100m pretty much right, I’m not sure which striker we could realistically get at that point

Rabiot, from what I hear, was one of Juve’s best players (if not the best) last season. Him on a free is shrewd business one way or another.

I’m not super hyped about goalkeepers - AT WORST we let Henderson back in between the sticks.

The chatter being about this Danish kid for striker is really worrying. If that’s the best option we’re looking at, we’re fucked. He might be talented but we’d be desperate to go into a PL/CL season with Martial and a teenager for striking options…

Yeah I’d be very happy with that midfield, but we absolutely need a striker. And not someone who can play as a striker, we need someone who is a striker

So insane. At least Chelsea has some very real motivation to put money on the books. Whatever rabbit Levy is trying to pull out of his ass is infuriating…

Understand sources feel Mason Mount deal has to be completed by the end of next week. 🔴 #MUFC

Manchester United will bid again as said yesterday but insist for quick resolution — won’t keep negotiating for too long.

    £60/65m enough to convince Chelsea.

    Personal terms agreed.

It’s really an interesting stand off. Chelsea want us to buy and we want to buy. Considering the succes rate in stand offs I have with my children. I think it’s good I’m an academic and not in sales.
