This is a German historical drama about the Roman Empire’s occupation of Germany (at the time Germania Magna, a region between the Elbe and the Rhine) during 9 AD. The tribes face heavy taxes and demands for tribute and therefore aim to create a unified Germanic resistance. The show is in German/Latin on Netflix with english subtitles and other languages.

This is not an accurate rendition of the Roman-Germanic wars.
