Typically, DLSS quality approaches or exceeds the quality of native rendering. This is easily verifiable in basically any modern game. There’s 2 things I’m noticing that seem to imply this version of DLSS is busted:
- detail doesn’t resolve properly over time. It still looks unusually low resolution like it isn’t actually doing upscaling.
- Extreme ghosting and smearing. You can test this out in your orbiter or wherever is convenient, like drifter camp. It’s very obvious even from quite a distance with my bad eyes.
