I’ve seen sites while not blocking ads being less bad than this one. Also, the article implies PC gaming has less revenue than console gaming, but I seldom see people talking about any releases or the sort other than Nintendo’s, and in the real world, I even see game stores slowly becoming PC peripherals stores. Also the site on seems to be an investment blog, the article itself quickly shifting to investment talk. And with the data seemingly being somewhere between generic and “we took into account only Steam”, feels like a half-baked research, as even if Steam’s the biggest but allegedly not bigger than consoles (together? one at a time?), PC gaming stores aren’t unified, so if accounted for all they could find together, who knows if the numbers would surpass consoles? But overall, the article seems like an ellaborate ad.

Furthermore, it’s based on a projection that these revenues will surpass.

Maybe they will, but it doesn’t forecast doom and gloom for consoles. I think a lot of these tech people forget that there are families and kids out there, who make up a massive portion of particularly Nintendo’s stuff.
