I beat space age for the first time! And I think I did it in a weird way. my star!

- Every planet, (substantial) platform, and little side project has a sushi belt. Most things happen on said belt. In only a few places do I just throw items away; most everything that goes into the sushi belt stays there/gets used.
- I killed 0 biter bases, and <10 pentapod rafts (I would have done 0 had I realized stompers dropped the eggs. Forever shame).
- Only a few hundred big biters killed. I’m not aware of triggering any attacks from any of the enemy types.
- No Nuclear! I built only enough uranium for a personal reactor. Space was almost entirely done with solar power. I also used very little coal power, and swapped it out asap.
- As a consequence: very few polluted trees. pollution cloud was kept small.
- Planet order: fulgora -> gleba -> vulcanis.
~800 hours. I was not efficient, and learning a ton (and sushi… it may not be for speedrunning). I have not watched any factorio content, but I’m told Doshington(sp?) has a base-game playthrough with sushi belts, and that our circuitry solutions are nothing alike. I use local ‘read all on belt’ strips to manage ratios, and don’t track the total amount on any belts.
Sad that this sort of run is getting patched out (biter spawning wont be blockable after next major patch). See here for how that worked.
It’s one of the nice features of space age that it encourages sushi in a few situations, Fulgora probably being the obvious one that most players will recognise.
Congrats on completing the game, you’re ahead of me in that regard!
I can see the star now!
