It’s a fact that ground troops will be sent to Iran, because otherwise we stop now, lick our wounds, and go home. Does that seem likely? To capitulate to Iran, because it refuses to stop seeking nuclear weapons to use against Israel—but also it’s just a deterrent, so it can continue to fund terrorist proxies which oppose the very existence of Israel.

Israel is a thing. Their history is no less shocking and appalling than US history … probably profoundly less shocking. But the US is a thing, it comes with baggage, but that doesn’t delegitimize it from our current perspective.

But none of it makes sense. Nobody can ‘own’ land, you can become ‘one’ with land, as a concept. I use this land because nobody else is using it, and I grow crops here or something, and basically normal people don’t have a problem with that.

It’s only in a system of domination and authoritarians that we need to define ‘this land is my land’. You are what you eat, maybe is the simplest way of explaining land. We become united with our environment through use of its ‘ground’.

The ‘ground of Being’, the thing at the very center of our existence.

But humans fight over ground. It is fundamental to our kind of existing. It requires defense. This is because people are greedy—they want more ground. Expansion.

The idea that you can defeat a people from the air is ridiculous. We aren’t creatures of the air, we’re creatures of thr ground.

Iran need only accept the existence of Israel as some kind of thing, and move on with life. The struggle is that there are forces pushing for more trouble in a primordial anxiety for more ground, more power, more expansion. This is how they defend their ground.

But we only end up here as a kind of fear. It has no root in justice or ideology or anything financial or ephemeral. One reacts to fear as a kind of ‘standing your ground’, ‘standing up’ means your feet are on the ground, and you don’t budge, you face the threat.

This underlying fear is the source of everything. Which is why, if you want to win a war, you take someone’s ground.

Then you give it back to them. Because they have become one with their ground; cannot be separated from it. But the victorious party feels less fear, which was the point to begin with. It’s a frat-boy hazing ritual. The end.
