You’re very prolific. How often do you turn out new work?

I’d say I’ve been averaging a piece per day for the past couple weeks. Sometimes when I get excited about learning a technique I’ll try out a bunch of stuff and see what’s works.

I try and space out what I post though so that I don’t flood people’s feeds, and really just want to keep this place active so that more people show off their cool stuff.

I really enjoy seeing your work. I’m hoping to eventually share something of mine, but I only recently started and I work very slowly. I’m also doing birds because they are awesome.

Thank you so much for saying so!

I’m getting back into the drawing habit after falling off of it for a few years; my kids have been a huge inspiration; they just never stop drawing!

I’ve never really done much color because I have red/green color vision deficiency, but I’m loving these watercolor markers that they showed me (and having the right paper makes all the difference).

I’d love to see what you come up with when you’re ready to share! And birds really are the best.

This is how I pictured the location the newly empowered girls take over in the book ‘The Power’.
