An absolutely-valid point.

Our assumed-entitlement to have all meanings fit within our assumptions, served on a silver-platter, is baseless.

& it is ideology’s default-position, from what I’ve seen.

I think that counter-intuitive things NEED to be taught in school, so as to force-dismantle the unconscious-assumption that it’s entitled to have all truth be within its assumptions.

ONLY when we have been forced into re-configuring outselves, in order to understand something testably-true, enough times does it begin sinking-in that universe doesn’t owe us any catering-to-our-assumptions.

THAT is when real learning can begin, because now we’ve change from assuming we’re owed, to committing to objective learning…
