It is Easter. So we will eat ham.

It’s Passover and turns out it’s hard to get ice cream that’s kosher for passover because most brands use corn syrup and that’s not good for passover. I’m not going into why it’s…silly to me.
But I have an ice cream machine, and I love my mother, so I made her (and by extension her husband and step son) some vanilla ice cream, sans any corn syrup (or corn starch, a litter of home recipes use that) and then I delivered it to her.
I was going to bake an Easter (oh I see auto correct, you’ll caps Easter auto but not Passover) bunny cake, but my bunny cake pan must be in deep storage. Husband is ostensibly catholic so bunny cake.
The cat is also being an absolute menace. She needs attention. But not any old attention. She needs attention of the person who was napping. Me. Can’t go yell at the awake guy, noooo. Wake up human lady! Attention time!!!

Freeing our household from arbitrary and irrelevant holidays has been amazing. I get a 4 day weekend without any extra obligations.
I declared today ‘no demands’ day where I just follow my whims with no timelines, no one depending on me and my schedule, no leaving the house, no commitments, it rules.
I spent this today catching up on book club and half planning a tableware set I want to make. Might even go throw some test plates… We’ll see if I still want to by the time I get downstairs lol
Finally hacked my wiiu and played marioparty 8, it was awesome
It’s Easter. I’m happy but also very overstimulated.
I’m gonna wash my teeth, pull the curtains, close the blinds, wear my pjs, lay on my bed and read a book. I need to recharge…
I have painted some eggies :3
I shall now use all the eggs for various egg related games :3c and then eat them

I’d say my skills are passable at least lol :3 maybe it’s just the internet giving me unrealistic standards, some people are ridiculously good at it x3
Well, first rule of the internet: “there is always somewhere a kid better than you, whatever your hobby” BUT that’s not important! The important thing is to have fun, to be proud of yourself and to make pretty things!
I’ll let you know that my artsy skills are so good that 6 year old kids are always better than me :)
