Can’t buy anything stronger than beer and wine at Costco where I come from. Can’t even get it delivered. It’s un-American, I tell you!

    That Islay is good.

Ours just got Lag 16 for $75~ and Heaven Hill BiB for $42. The rest of our stuff is pretty basic BS like bulliett, standard Elijah Craig, blue label, and J. Daniel’s that can be found literally everywhere.

Thanks for the endorsement. I haven’t opened it yet and bought on a lark as much as anything else, so I’m curious how it measures up to the like of Laphroaig.

        Live Laph Love

Laphroaig is really on a podium of its own with its iodine and medicinal/burnt band aid profile. Since there is only so many distilleries on Islay, it’s being sourced from one of them and that narrows it down. Rumor is it’s Bruichladdich but never confirmed.

Totally right. I always have the Laddie 10 on my mind when I am thinking of them. Anyone tried the Black Art series?

I love that scotch! They had it once at our Costco and I’ve been searching every time and it’s not there anymore.

I can’t do their spiced rum. The only Kirkland product I’ve been profoundly disappointed in. Tastes like they tried to sweeten it and it’s just awful, to me.
