i read quacker and was interested but here are not even rules or a discription so i dont know how i should feel about this community.

I think it’s hilarious that you posted in this community to find out more about it, but don’t really know what it’s all about, it’s really nice and personable. I’m new to Lemmy and to see an interested and honest person getting involved in a positive discussion is just delightful. I hope you have a great day :)

i suggest editing the description so newcomers see what it is about exactly and some rules. At least for me communities that do this look better, eventually make a icon for it too like here a bag of the quacking oatmeal
This was created by someone that’s just filling up community name slots. if you check their profile, you can see they moderate a bunch of random stuff… They probably just want control over the name Quaker on Lemmy.
Of course, it’ll only be in lemmy.world right? There can still be c/Quaker on another instance, so this isn’t really a viable tactic.
I created this community to find for other people who enjoy Quaker.
