I haven’t played it, but someone highly recommended it to me. So, going to give it a try soon.
Does Switch Online have save states? If so, don’t be afraid to use them. It’s more punishing than newer Fire Emblem games.
They do, but for NES and SNES, I haven’t played any game in other apps yet. Will check when I start.

It does on SNES so I assume so.
I played this as a kid and got decently far into the game before I got stuck.
I started working my way through the GBA and DS library last month. I’m excited to revisit this game as an adult.
