How old is the kiddo? If you’ve never been to the Strong Museum, you really need to go. They have stuff for everyone from toddlers to tweenagers.

Tons of breweries. Swiftwater, Roc Brewing Company, Fifth Frame Brewing Co., Three Heads, a bar called The Richmond that’s owned by Mortalis Brewing and has many of their beers on tap, Fattey Beer Company, Genesee Brew House, Heroes Brewing Company, and I’m sure more that I can’t think of. And those are just within the city limits.

The Strong Museum of Play is also about to open a 90 thousand square foot, two-story expansion on June 30.

Strong Museum closed to prepare for expansion, will re-open last day of June

Those are all great, Strange Bird brewery just down the street from ROC Brewing Co is one of my favorites as well. Genessee brew house is nice for the view of the waterfall alone.

Also plug for the Eastman house museum, part photography muesuem and part gilded age mansion and gardens.

Regarding something to do with the kid: Check out the Strong Museum of Play.

Regarding moving here: A few questions

    Where are you coming from?

    Why are you moving?

What do you do you hope find?

What specific questions do you have?

The Zoo, RMSC are always good for kids. If you want to shop at a mall I’d go to Eastview over the others
