I’m pretty psyched I found a hickory nut tree near me and I’ve been picking them up as they fall off and drying them. I also found a walnut tree but I gotta find a ladder.
My Mom had a Shag Bark Hickory, and that one tree was enormously productive. So much so that I was pricing shelling machines to make cracking them open easier. Super tasty!!!
