China isn’t going to doublecross Russia until they’re good and ready. They’re currently buying Russian crude oil and selling it back as refined fuel, at a massive markup.
China wants Easter Russia, and its plentiful natural resources, but they’re playing the slow game. They’re building up Russian debt, and will likely strike after Russia finally admits defeat in Ukraine. (and the only way Russia will admit defeat is when they are completely broke)
