As the title says, I have a Nikon Coolpix P80 that I got from my husband and would like to know the best possible practices to achieve the best possible quality photos. I love the old pic aesthetic, just really wanna take better night shots.

Shoot in Manual, so you get more control over settings. If you’re not familiar with Manual mode, watch some video tutorials to learn how to balance Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO to get the image you want.
Also, since it’s an older camera, try to keep the ISO down (lower than 800) when possible to get cleaner images.
If you’re shooting mostly at night, you will need artificial light to help light your subject, either continuous or flash light.
