I’ve noticed that I can’t access anything on there itself jerboa, and when I attempt to hit the site in a browser I get a connection reset.

However I haven’t seen any posts regarding what’s up. Does anyone know?

    Both lemmy.world and lemmy.ml, and some other instances, were victims of a DDOS attack due to a bug in the new 0.18 Lemmy software

    It’s kind of complicated. Lemmy as a whole got an update today, but lemmy.world can’t update because the captcha system doesn’t work in the new version. If l.w gets updated their spam protection would be down, so they’re waiting for the fix in the next update. I’ve been using kbin and Thunder for lemmy until it gets fixed

    I don’t think i’ve had any problems, but i’m running memmy if that matters.
