I wonder how the photographer made the highlights glow like that. Perhaps a filter was used, or maybe the camera lens was greased prior to shooting, or the film stock itself could have the characteristic of highlight halation without color shifting.

Edit: Upon further research I descovered that soft filters were used for professional shoots. Greasing the lens was inconsistent and ate away at the coatings, so it is not advised.
