Back in the days of Napster, when everyone was using it… They turned a blind eye because it could’ve easily meant 90% of the population imprisoned or juvie, wasn’t worth it at the time. So they made subscriptions possible, for music and for movies, shows and stuff. The illusion of choice is powerful to mask away your freedom of truly wanting what you want. When your playpen is narrowed down to only so few toys, you think your toys are truly what exists, and you forget to question why the playpen is even there.
