yup pretty much every time ive met someone from the c-suite at a company, and especially CEOs. every single one of them that i have met have given me major ick vibes. like they dont see the people who work for them as human.

A chunk of CEOs are sociopaths, and they’re all certainly some form of dictator. Either way, they all are completely divorced from the consequences of their decisions with the only exceptions being their ability to be profitable and maintain a favorable image. Piss off other rich people and you’re done.

Worse than sociopaths sometimes. The Dark Triad is a personality cluster of narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy combined. Found in CEOs among other groups.

Some places you feel it physically when the office doors open. One company, literally the evilest of all, I was in their building meeting with another company who was a tenant, and you felt in the fucking lobby downstairs.

That’s a good question and I wonder how aware of his exhusband’s fast “friendship” and the fact he was a guest to his island nyc subsidiary in multiple occasions, because their divorce came quickly after the revelation.

It was a rhetorical question. I know she said that about Epstein, but what about her husband who socialised with him plus the business practises at Microsoft

I am sure she was fine with it because she married him and grew rich off his unethical business practices. She got what she wanted.

Yeah, I don’t quite understand why or how we try to give the wives of these evil megalomaniac billionaires a free pass.

They are either complicit, helping them to be evil megalomaniac billionaires, or they simply do not care what the evil megalomaniac billionaires do as long as they get to live the rich life.

            • The reason is sexism.

Either people believe the wives to be innocent because something something men suck women are the best and can do no wrong unlike evil men,

              Or

People believe the wives re innocent becausw they think the women too dumb to know what was going on or too disinterested to find out.

Both are sexist bullshit pushed by people who don’t understand the rich are all in it together, and are all opposed to being held accountable by the poors

I’ve been disappointed watching billionaires discuss the evils of Donald and Epstein and, presumably having some very intimate knowledge of the two and their crimes (in Gates’ case via her former marriage), and still opt not to disclose it to the public.

You’re being dismissive. She has a degree in computer science and worked as a product manager. I’m sure this had less relevance in her financial success than her gender, though.

I apologize that my comment seemed callous. I didn’t mean to diminish any of her accomplishments or skills. I was just merely repeating a common trope. I’m sorry if what I said was offensive.

I dont think the overall sentiment is wrong, just that she needed different skills, and perhaps more education, to catch Bill’s interest.
