I sometimes overthink my level of knowledge on them since I did some small amount of research in the field, and actually read the big papers in the field, but it should be clear to anyone that they are useless for many of the things “”“people”“” (executives/investors) want them to do.

Ask an LLM to spell out the alphabet, or name all the vowels, or count to 10 that was all that was needed from the start and to this day to prove their worthlessness.
