      There’s usually the whole tanning process before it’s made into shoes. This one looks like it skipped that step, or took a big detour.

    These are actually pretty common in western wear stores. Here in Texas, I wouldn’t even think twice about seeing these. Snakeskin boots are way more common. But alligator boots are a thing among a certain flamboyantly masculine subset of wannabe cowboys.
