My favorite thing about the Abraham God is how he created species of angels for the only purpose of singing “Holy! Holy! Holy!” to him 24/7 in his throne room.

Wasn’t the whole Jesus thing about freeing slaves & disposing of corrupt priests & officials…? I never studied the Bible, so I might be wrong…

Very much no. At least, well… Interpretation.

Do read the Bible. If you’re here and haven’t, you should.

At least the pentateuch and gospels. The gospels aren’t even that (that) ridiculous.

Once you do that, there’s more books that you could read, but that would be the ones you’re interested in.

I do want to further qualify my "that"s.

The biblical story of the nativity is so unbelievable and counterfactual that legitimate biblical scholars cite it as evidence that Jesus of Nazareth was a real person because “why would you make up such a ridiculous story to get someone born in the city of David if they weren’t a real person that just did not completely fulfilling the prophecy. A made up person would just be born there.”

But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.

Whoo boy! A ton of christians love that last bit out righteousness. If you see your religion as morally correct at all times, it’ll make you blind to how disgusting most religions actually are.
