minus-squareglitch1985linkfedilinkarrow-up1·2 days agoWow I would have thought it would freeze quickly since it’s so shallow. I remember within the last couple years when the majority of the Potomac was frozen solid and people were walking all the way across.
Less than 2 foot deep and it gets cold enough in the winter to freeze solid for ice skating although the NPS hates when people do that.
