Let’s kick off some slightly low effort content here:
Which is your favourite game in the series?
For me it will always be between Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert.
I think the story of TD is what pulled me into the series in the first place, and RA on Westwood online is what cemented me as a fan
Toss up between Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun for me. The atmosphere and music for tibsun is amazing, but the gameplay for RA2 is top-tier.
I like Generals for making maps though
I think RA2 was the most balanced of the original 4 games for multiplayer, and some of the units are just great fun. I particularly like the spy tech units. The Chrono-commando was just hilariously OP, but at least the game would be pretty much over by the time someone managed to get one
Firestorm for me is the one. It has the most interesting world and a great set of units and buildings. I didn’t get to play much past Generals Zero Hour though.
I think I’ll agree that firestorm is my favourite expansion. It felt like a whole new game at the time!
