    Ships have always had insurance. That’s why they couldn’t pass the strait during the war, because no insurance company would support that. The cargo always needs to be insured since the seller won’t take any chances to transport it otherwise.

    I dont know if this news now mean that Iran is trying to force an Iranian insurance company to be behind all insurances.
