    That’s some serious dedication!

Love your armor, and the heraldry on the shield is cool, too! Is it from a real source or original?

Thank you! I studied historical coat of arms and followed the Rules of Tincture which is how medieval knights and nobles made their heraldry on shields and flags, etc. There were specific rules about what colours and patterns could go together so I tried to make it as accurate as possible. I made it myself though my dad made the sword and shield you see here, I made everything else and painted the shield and sword. It’s meant to be two moons which symbolize my other hobby of astronomy and the owl is sitting on a book to represent my Animal Behaviour and Welfare degree that I studied at university. Also, my other hobbies and interests in general are animals and reading and writing, so just a kind of personal coat of arms. Though I am bad at art, lol. Glad you like it though. It was fun to make.

The explanation and the personal story makes it even better.

Huge congrats to both you and your old man, you’re both very talented :)

Thanks! I definitely am. My sister and her boyfriend took me there to celebrate finishing my degree and it was epic!
