Just the presence of satellite radio doesn’t mean you are being tracked, much like GPS, satellite radio is one way communication and your receiver is just that, a receiver (as oppose to a transmitter).
Touche! I totally forgot they started adding cellular modems to some of the radios, it helps them disable non-paying radios but does give them a back channel to siphon off data. The bigger threat is OnStar equipped vehicles, they’ve started jamming that on every used car.
