This was absolutely my reaction as a kid and it took me entirely too long to finally truly understand.
In the USA, every single blue collar worker should remove their thin blue line stickers and flags. When it boils down to the police, they are there to protect the property owned by the upper class.
And the best part - americans are still toothless, still complacent, still believing it’s better to support their broken system “just in case they ever end up on the better side of it”.

- Governments can legally enslave people by imprisoning them, and forcing them to work for corpos for practically no pay. This is the current boom industry in the United States.
As usual business creates the problem and then blames it on the government. Everyone hates the government but business is calling the shots.
