This is beyond fucked up. People do less time for rape and murder, but somehow running from the cops means it’s ok to throw away a person’s life. Brock Turner, the rapist who sometimes goes by Allen, got a lesser punishment for raping a woman than this guy did for running from the cops and having a record eleven years prior. This is exactly why justice doesn’t mean a damn thing in this country.
