SPOILERS LAST CHANCE

Last night I completed the mission A High Price to Pay, and boy, that messed me up. Had to stop playing the game and go to bed, and now tonight I’m reloading an old save to change my mistakes. The companion I had just married a little while ago died, because at the last second I didn’t go to The Eye. I am justifying it as a Final Destination-esque vision my character had. Anyone else do that after this quest?

When I realised what was happening I reloaded an old save and decided I needed to spend more time with the other companions I didn’t like as much to force the game to kill them instead. Now I don’t want to go back.

it didnt sink in for me until the game said the companions inventory has been moved to the basement. thought there would be a way to save them before that happened

How can you actually change that outcome? Is it different if you go to the eye?

I went to the eye. Some still dies, but not the same person.

i believe so, but you cant change which 2 companions the game chooses unless you go back before the part where you help fix stuff on the eye

Honestly this exact thing is why I like how they handle new game plus. My current tactic is I just keep my decisions and next time it can play through differently.
