Hello,
We have a community for general health topics, debates, resources: !health@lemmy.world
I could use some help with it, since I think it could be a useful resource, nobody else seemed to be interested, and I don’t really know what I’m doing.
Currently I’m compiling a list of health communities on the Lemmy network and it’s just a draft for now.
Anyone here who’d like to join?
I joined and I support your efforts. Wish I had any value to add.
No worries.

I also have no idea what I’m doing, but I didn’t see a community for kidneydisease and related topics so I made them. Now comes the hard part, attracting users so we can have some actual discussion and not just spam news article links. It might be a bit early for these niche topics to flourish so I agree that teaming up with related communities is a good idea.

Also created mirrors of these on kbin as an alternative since I don’t want to put all my eggs in one basket:

Shoot me a DM if you’d like to connect.
Yes! Cool! Shooting. I was thinking of mirroring the list on kbin too, but so far I’m lazy.
Not sure about having “the same” community on both Lemmy and kbin as that may fracture the userbase. On the other hand, interoperability between the two seems broken right now.
