Though the won’t go up for another 5 years kept me from losing my shit. To be fair my price has been identical for probably 7 or 8 years at this point.
I worked for TMobile as a dev for 4 days. Day 1 on the job, I heard how the config server I’d be maintaining worked and immediately got another job.
“If a change request for these values come in with this header, then we need to also update that value.” Or “If serving the group of values, serve the values as they are but when serving port values individually, you must prepend the colon and send as a string.”
Garbage in, garbage out sums up this entire company all the way to the bone.
I should be impacted, with Simple Choice, but the irony isn’t the price being the issue; my plan doesn’t have throttling built in, so it’s slightly more than the newer plan while also offering more reliable internet. I’ve considered updating the plan for slightly cheaper and higher caps, but the fine print always stopped me.
