Will never understand the appeal of Birkenstock style footwear. Plus, they are so stiff that my ankles ache just looking at them 😆
There’s basically nothing about this that really works IMO. If you like it, wear it, but I find it confusing.
This doesn’t look casual, it doesn’t look professional, it doesn’t look like it’s for warm weather and it doesn’t look like it’s for cold weather. It’s denim over the top in the 90s kind of style with a tucked in shirt as one contradiction point and the long almost dress looking pants with an open toed shoe which feels casual.
If this is comm is for getting advice, I would say the outfit could be much improved with minor changes to pick a lane (no sidebar to read to double check). Most of the other ensembles you have posted are pretty nice and make a lot of sense. This one not as much.
Thank you so much. I like to experiment and try new things with the items I have. In this particular case, I wanted to try casual looks with the denim shirt, different t-shirts and a trousers.
I think it works. Only thing that doesn’t fit are the sandals.
Thanks.
This looks fine, but not as interesting as some of the other fits you’ve posted. It’s fine, but long sleeve buttoned shirt over a t-shirt is basically the same thing guys have been wearing since the 90s.
One thought, if you want to keep the sandals, you should consider dressing down the pants too. Like a pair of linen shorts might be a nice replacement.
Thank you. Currently, I have a pair of linen trousers. Otherwise, the idea was to try the looks with the roomier khaki chinos. 😊 Maybe not perfect or interesting, just comfy and casual. I’m fine with the a slightly vintage flavour in my looks sometimes, too. The goal is to discover new looks with the items I have, instead of rushing to buy “something new”.
