I alsae got mah ferst crop oh strawberries this week, yum, nowt better than yer ane grown strawberries. Tatties are luikin fine, gooseberries are comin alang, aiples an plums an aww. Worth the effort this year for sure, rasps alone are worth it!

Not 100% sure of my plans this weekend. It’d be nice to finally get the bicycle serviced so I can get out on it again, but I’ve just not found the energy. Been steadily plugging away at other hobbies though, keeping the brain ticking over. I’d like to try to do a bit of woodburning (like, burning a picture into some wood, not just setting fire to a log) but I don’t have a serious plan for what yet
Oh I have one of these wood burner things but I’m not overly artistic!! Might give it a wee try this week though!!
I just have an old soldering iron! It’s not ideal tool but it does the job. As it is I didn’t get any done this weekend, but I started a sketch that can become one

First week off and of course the weathers been rubbish!! Went to see Supergirl tonight! Was quite a good superhero movie! Had a massage mid week, picked my dad up from the airport and going out for dinner tomorrow. Plenty to keep me amused!
The trailer did look good, Holywood always pulls together a good trailer. And my Dad picks himself up from the airport these days, so he’s a bit easier. Wimbledon and the British Grand Prix this weekend, plus football world cup, and Rugby all day today on STV, so just tons of sport on the telly. And I’ve never been overly massage inclined, and with reports about so many creepy dudes wanting happy endings I don’t think I’m in a rush either

My dad got in at 1 in the morning so I was ‘it’ for picking up!! Supergirl not getting good write ups in the press but I wonder how much of it is because its a female super hero.
