A German man has died while in the custody of the immigration authority ICE in the United States.

The 85-year-old died in Harlingen, Texas, where he had been in a clinic since November, ICE announced on Thursday.

He had been receiving treatment there for dementia, high blood pressure, cognitive impairment and stomach ulcers. A doctor confirmed his death on June 24.

An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.

    Every single time a foreign national is unjustly detained or killed in an ICE concentration camp, the country in question should be summoning and sanctioning that country’s US ambassador.

    Okay I read this one and I really recommend everyone does before commenting.

    He arrived at the border without travel documents. He was detained by Customs and Border Patrol, then placed with ICE, who then place him in a care home. Not a detention facility. He waited in the care home for his court hearing and recieved medical care promptly when needed.

    Really nothing amiss here. Without more details I can’t figure out why he had to have a court date and wasn’t simply sent back to Germany, but apparently the German Consulate has dealt with this individual in the past. Whatever that may mean.

    I don’t trust this administration at all to give the full story, but so far this seems all above board.

    They are pursuing an autopsy that the German Embassy seems to have an interest in, so hopefully that reveals more details.

    As far as “crimes of ice” go this is really quite lacking especially compared to the videos we have of them gunning down American citizens in the steet
