What are you talking about? Who is hacking with Raspberry pi’s? Is that even possible? And why would they hack with a Raspberry pi?
Not sure what the original comment was, but I’m wondering if they were confusing them with flipper zero.
FWIW, there is an add-on for the flipper to connect it to a PI.
Theoretically, I could take a PI and use it as a hacking tool to plug into a network and punch a hole out. There are so many other uses for it, but it’s not cost effective like the earlier boards.
I remember the flipper zero things! I was gonna get one, but I’m one of those guys who buys cool tech stuff, noodles around with it for a few times, then moves on to something else. Now my house is full of tech I don’t use. I am trying to downsize!
I love the idea of Raspberry Pi, and I have 3 of them, but I never really found the use for them that I wanted to really stick with. I don’t like how they keep going up in price all the time though.
I have a couple old ones. They were retro gaming systems, digital video players, and one is currently one of my piholes.
Theoretically, if you had a mobile phone power pack, a little case, a proper display and input keys, then you have the hardware platform for it. You’d need three right os, tools, knowledge, and radios, but you COULD do stuff with it.
It would probably be easier to use a laptop though.
I connected a small touchscreen to mine and wrote a program for it so I could plan and record my workouts. It was a fun project and I felt good that I did it. But since I still had to plug it in, it wasn’t as convenient as just using my laptop or phone. I may revisit it and come up with something else cool for it and maybe have it perma attached to wall in my home gym.
If you can use a battery for it it’s a game changer.
The problem really is estimating the charge% and notifying of a needed change.
I looked into that, but it just seemed a hassle. I’ll look into it again
