Putin’s top doctor, who is believed to have inside knowledge of despot’s medical secrets, has been arrested by the FSB after he was caught ‘seeking to flee the country’.

Russian vaccine and serum chief Viktor Trukhin, 59, went missing six days ago, and was simultaneously fired from his senior post at a top state institute amid ‘fraud’ allegations after his family reported him missing.

He is said to have inside knowledge of Russia’s latest research and development in the field of vaccines, serums and ‘bacterial preparations’.

Trukhin was detained by Vladimir Putin’s FSB counterintelligence service seeking to escape abroad via Belarus, reported Telegram channel Cheka-OGPU.

He was the longtime director of the St Petersburg Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums.

Of course he will be discredited as a doctor and he will be found to be a west-paid spy for a large number of years before falling from the window of his prison cell (in Russia they are so humane prison cells don’t have bars on them).

I sure hope Putin’s next doctor won’t be as careful when dosing his medications. I’d love to see some ipecac being distributed in the coffe cups of a closed meeting between Putler and the north-korean bimbo

Well, a fall from a high window is not the best way to survive captivity :)

I was kind of startled by a picture of Putin I saw yesterday in a news story about Kim Jong Un. It looks like he has textbook moon facies from iatrogenic Cushing’s, so I think he’s just getting loaded up with steroids. It could just be weight gain, but his hands and torso don’t appear to have changed compared to older photos.

Of all the places to try to escape from Russia via, I can’t help but feel like their vassal state wasn’t a good idea

Judging by the fact that he had to work with Putin, that doctor is definitely under all possible monitoring and restrictions. Probably also listed as a part of one of the many services so they could impose the same restrictions, which include very limited travel, expecially internationally.

This kind of things happens to people much less close to Putin, Kremlin, or anything like that, so the doc definitely had even tighter restrictions.

I’m sure there is a very interesting story behind this but I am not sure if we will ever know it. Maybe fear of what he has been asked to do? Fear that he cannot deliver on what he’s been tasked with? Fear that he cannot keep fear leader alive in perpetuity?

Fear, because he knows the truth. Why was he running? Is tripping out of a window in his immediate future?

Is tripping out of a window in his immediate future?

He’s already dead. The question now is will his family accidentally fall out of a window?
