      Because they don’t care about the consequences. Whatever the fines are, they’ll be less than the profit, making them nothing more than a business expense.

        Oh, sorry, maybe I didn’t make it very clear, but I was implying the drm thing was a direct result of this.

        As in “well you don’t want me to do this? Then I’ll do this other thing you haven’t said shit about to make up for it! And it’s worse! But I still profit and it’ll take years to go through the courts to challenge!”
